SportDOG Awards Funds to Illinois PF "Young Guns" - Jan. 15, 2010
SportDOG Brand® has announced it will award $1,000 to the Young Guns, a youth group that is part of the Illinois Pioneer Chapter of Pheasants Forever, for use in restoring 44 acres of upland game habitat. This annual grant is being awarded as part of SportDOG Brand's Kids in Conservation Fund.
Half Million Acres of Habitat Work for "The Habitat Organization" in '09 - Jan. 12, 2010
The 621 Pheasants Forever chapters, 103 Quail Forever chapters and 125,000 members of "The Habitat Organization" nationwide completed over 22,000 wildlife habitat projects in 2009, benefitting over 500,000 acres for pheasants, quail and other wildlife.
PF Adds Helping Hand To Minnesota's Conservation Plan - Jan. 08, 2010
Pheasants Forever is expanding its Farm Bill Biologist program in Minnesota with the addition of a position covering McLeod and Meeker Counties. Farm Bill Biologist Michael Schultz joins Pheasants Forever from the Blue Earth Soil and Water Conservation District in Mankato, Minnesota, where he worked as the Cobb River Watershed Coordinator.

Vermeer Charitable Foundation behind Pheasants Forever's "Reload Iowa" - Jan. 04, 2010
Pheasants Forever is proud to announce a generous donation of $20,000 to the organization's "Reload Iowa" campaign by the Vermeer Charitable Foundation. The donation - the first major gift to "Reload Iowa - will help the campaign goal of improving 1 million acres of wildlife habitat, increasing the number of upland hunters and increasing hunting-related revenue to local communities in Iowa.

"In the Wild with Pheasants Forever," the official outdoor radio production of Pheasants Forever, can now be heard on KORN 1490 AM out of Mitchell, South Dakota. The seven-minute "In the Wild" segment is recorded, produced and featured as part of The Big Wild, America's Premier Outdoor Radio Show. The show will premiere on KORN on January 2, 2010.
New Pheasants Forever Chapter Launches North of Columbus - Dec. 16, 2009
Ohio's Delaware and Franklin counties are home to the nation's newest chapter of Pheasants Forever. The group, named the Central Ohio Chapter of PF, becomes the state's 30th PF chapter and the first to service the Columbus area. Chapter leaders plan to focus their efforts on connecting area youngsters to the outdoors and America's hunting heritage.
Iowa Teens Form Nation's First High School Chapter of Pheasants Forever - Dec. 16, 2009
Students at Iowa's Oskaloosa High School have formed the first-ever high school chapter of Pheasants Forever. The groundbreaking chapter, known as the Oskaloosa Pioneering Ringnecks, will help future land stewards gain valuable conservation experience through planning, fundraising and hands-on wildlife habitat project work.
PF Names New Director of Conservation Programs for MN - Dec. 07, 2009
Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever announce Joseph M. Pavelko as the organization's new Director of Conservation Programs for Minnesota. Pavelko joins "The Habitat Organization" from the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge Trust, Inc. and Friends of the Minnesota Valley where he served as Conservation Projects Manager since 2005.
Make it Miller High Life and Help Local PF Chapters Raise Funds for Wildlife Habitat - Nov. 05, 2009
An unusually wet autumn to date across the core of the pheasant range means that late-season pheasant hunting in November and December will be "Prime Time" for hunters. And after a day afield, hunters that make it "Miller Time" with Miller High Life will help Pheasants Forever raise funds for local wildlife habitat projects.
