It's the Fall Hunter's Safety Course, sponsored by Pheasants Forever and MYHEC. This event will be held at the Glassen Education Center at the Ingham County Conservation District. The course is free and includes a breakfast snack and lunch. The course includes classroom instruction, practical field exercises and firearms instruction on Sunday afternoon.

All firearms and ammunition will be provided by and under the control of the instructors. Do not bring personal firearms!

This is a great way to get your sons and daughters involved in the outdoors. It's a good shared experience and we encourage you to spend time with your child in the class. For those students under the age of 10, we ask that a parent or mentor stay with the student for the entire course.

We have many adult students at each course. If you are an adult and have always wanted to get involved in hunting, or need a refresher course this is a good place to start.
